All balloons come standard with clear glass bulbs, shiny copper wire finish, a copper basket, free engraving, and a loop on top for hanging. On all but small sizes this swivels, letting the balloon spin.

Frosting gives the glass a three-dimensional texture. Usually done as a pattern following the wire pattern. Many people think this makes them look like "Crystal" balloons. Cost is $10 for Medium or smaller, $20 for Large or bigger.
Painted Bulbs
All painting is done on the inside of the bulb to provide brilliant color and permanent protection from dusting and handling. Balloons may be painted IN LINE (following the pattern or stripes of the wires) or abstract. Custom painting may also be done to match your favorite full size balloon! Abstract painting costs $5 for Medium and smaller, or $10 for Large and larger sizes. All custom work is priced individually based on complexity.
Clear Glass
Standard finish is clear glass balloons. The shine of the glass catches light and reflections.
The wires may be chemically treated to give them unusual color finishes in many colors, or an antique feel. $5 for Medium (& smaller) or $10 for Large sizes.
Precious Metal Plate
Have your balloon finished in 14K Gold, 24K Gold, Colored Gold or Pure Silver. Only $10 for Medium (& smaller) or $10 for Large sizes (Extra Large and Jumbo: $50).
Bright Copper
Our standard finish, this is the natural state of the wires. Like a new penny.
Our most popular basket made from copper mesh. Gives the feel and texture of a wicker basket. $10 in medium or smaller, $15 in larger sizes. Often combined with a crystal bottom (see below).
Standard Basket
A smooth copper basket fashioned to match your balloon.
Embossed Basket
A copper basket embossed with patterns for a custom look. $15 Medium or smaller, $25 larger sizes.
Lead Crystal Bottom
The floor of the basket is a multi-faceted crystal or prism. Looking up through the basket is like looking through a kaleidoscope with brilliant shifting colors and patterns of light. You want this option! $5 up to Medium, $10 on larger sizes.
Objects of special meaning to you may be inserted INSIDE the balloon. Held in place by a small wire, they float in the center of your balloon. Almost anything that fits may be used. Costs vary. A Hummingbird is $15 to $25 depending on size, a Butterfly Cluster is $10 to $20.
Stands are available at a slight additional cost. They may be wood, marble or many other options and may be engraved or laser etched. Call for details.
Unlimited customization is possible, including using gemstones on a balloon and exact matches of real hot air balloons. We love doing custom pieces, all of which are priced individually. Due to workload constraints, custom balloons may take an extended period of time. You need to be prepared to wait for a true piece of art. Please call for an idea on timing.
